Available Positions
Design Engineer
Entry-level position responsible for assisting Project Team with engineering tasks such as electrical design drawings, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, and onsite troubleshooting. Training occurs by assisting on real-world industrial control and automation projects. Primary responsibility is to gain experience in industrial controls.
- Electrical controls drafting
- Electrical design in compliance with NEC & UL
- PLC programming

- VFD and Servo drive implementation
- Programming industrial vision cameras
- Electrical fabrication
- Hardware installation
- Wiring, hardware, and programming debug
- Entry-level
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Co-op or intern in manufacturing
- Exposure to electrical schematic reading or creation, PLC programming, or assembly language programming
- Visuals basic scripting in any Microsoft Office application
- Willing to travel 40% of the time
Controls Engineer
A Controls Engineer is responsible for project execution, either independently or as part of a team. Project assignments are based on experience and expertise with a variety of technical applications. Accelerated skill growth and building client relationships are key.
- Builds on roles of a Design Engineer
- Design and develop control system applications – typically includes Electrical Design, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA development
- Lead engineer – responsible for all technical aspects of a project and client communications
- Develop project documentation
- Responsible for project installation, startups, FAT & SAT
- Sales support – estimate labor hours and vendor equipment
- Interfaces manufacturing and distribution partners
- Mentoring
- 2+ years of experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline
- PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, AutoCAD electrical drawing design
- Working knowledge of NEC Code and NFP79
- Developed and implemented applications on control system platforms
- Works both independently and collaboratively
- Willing to travel 40% of the time
Project Engineer
Project Engineers take the lead role on larger automation projects. They are capable of quoting, managing, delegating, and executing project work. Providing sales support through proposal development for both repeat and new clients is essential.
