MartinCSI is an approved Integrator Partner of the Energy INsights Program sponsored by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). This grant program was developed to empower Indiana’s small to medium manufacturers to begin or scale their smart manufacturing journey. A manufacturer’s representative will complete an application process, once approved they will receive a smart manufacturing equipment starter kit and integration services from MartinCSI. The program was developed to educate manufacturers on how to gain access to their energy data, use it to identify energy savings opportunities, and apply that access and knowledge to additional areas in the facility – all at no cost to the participant.
MartinCSI works with participants to:
- Identify where and how to begin monitoring energy usage
- Communicate the capabilities of the starter kit and how to operate
- Assist in defining additional insights and how to achieve them
- Integrate the hardware and software included in the starter kit
- Educate on how to scale the starter kit and increase smart manufacturing initiatives
- Provide training and support throughout the program
Starter Kit
Opto 22 hardware and Ignition software that will retrieve and display the electrical consumption data from 3 locations in your plant and the ability to add more sensors to the project
Integration Services
The grant includes the cost to work with an integrator to identify the areas to collect energy data, develop an additional insight use case, integrate the starter kit, and get the system running
Training
Opportunities for training are provided by the program administrators and system integrators where participants learn how to use the starter kit, navigate the software, and how to scale the project
